In other news I've started watching Legend of the Seeker. It's super pretty and has a pairing that can't get together but at least they talk about it.

If you too want to see the pretty, all of the episodes are on hulu. (must be in U.S.)

So a couple weeks ago my dad decided he wanted to use his Christmas money to get the family a Wii. We've got WiiSports, WiiPlay, MarioKart, some sort of outdoor adventure that uses a pad to jump around on, and we borrowed Rayman Raving Rabbids from my cousins.

I'll edit this post with our Wii friend code later when I get home.

Sometimes I blow-dry it straight sometimes I let it air dry either way I never really do much of anything with it unless I'm playing a sport and need it out of my face. =)

Technically I suppose 'New Moon' but only because I started reading it last summer for the second time and discovered it still wasn't my favorite and just finished it a couple weeks ago. Really I would say it was 'Arena' that I reread for the millionth time. CHECK IT OUT. Karen Hancock. It will change your life. word.

7. Favorite ice cream flavor?
I plead the fifth. Ice cream is not my favorite

8. What's the weather like now?
Today was actually sunny and warm. yay

I would love to join a competitive volleyball team. The p.e. class is fun but I want a real team.

Pale colors can really wash me out and I don't like yellow. Other than that my closet looks like a rainbow.

19. What states or other places do you wish to visit in 2009?
I really want to take a road trip through Washington, making stops in Seattle (science fiction museum!), Forks (this is optional but would be so awesome to be able to say to other fans), and up into Canada preferably to go to gatecon. Is this going to happen? Probably not.

20. What are you most looking forward to in the next month?
A certain friendship growing and developing.

Now I'm contemplating going either to Basic or Paid account because the ads are atrocious. The larger quantity of user pics is very appealing.

As Valentines Day approaches I find myself with feelings, emotions and opinions that I want to share, probably more accurately is that I need to get off my chest some things, even if no one cares/reads it.

I have always been a firm believer, that while Valentines Day is a fine holiday; you shouldn't need a "special" day to do something nice for the person you love. However, I in no way feel like I can preach this or even back it up because I've never had anyone to do something 'special' for me. In fact i've never had a "special" person do anything 'special' for me on any day regardless of the holiday or lack thereof.

I'm 19 years old, going to college and I've never had a boyfriend, been on a date, or even been asked out. Which is not great for the self esteem. I don't want to be the initiator.

Right before Christmas we got a boat load of snow and were stuck at home for a couple weeks. The only times I ventured out of the house were to take pictures.

All my life I've never really liked my name.

There's no good, likable way to shorten it although people try and even though I have always felt this way I've never done anything about it. People continue to try and shorten it, (Kel, Kels[which if you have to shorten it this one is the lesser of two evils]) as well as just saying it incorrectly, Chelsea being the most common mistake.

I know at least 6 Kelsey's/Chelsea's off the top of my head. We may not all spell it the same but it sounds the same(except for Chelsea).

I've also noticed that students and teachers alike might remember me but they rarely remember my name from week to week. I've been called Ashley, Stephanie, Caitlyn, etc.

For years I've played around with going by my middle name, Nicole. I don't know many Nicole's.

It's french and actually has a "meaningful" meaning. 'Victory of the people' as opposed to 'from ceol's island'.

There are at least three valid nicknames for Nicole, [Nic, Nikki, Cole]

Next term I'm thinking about going by Nicole. On that first day in class when the teacher is going through attendence and they ask if you want to be called something different that what's on the paper; I'm going to say, "I go by Nicole."

Don't even get me started on my out of date username. Anybody have ideas for me for a new username?

5. A Hundred Days [Kelsey’s “favorite” episode. I can’t watch this episode without cringing to the point that I look like I’m having a seizure.]
6. Season 1 [Not all of season 1 just well…. most of it.]
7. The Warrior [ Jaffa, Teal’c, Jaffa honor, just lots of Jaffa. ]
8. Disclosure [Boring clip show, with the exception of one scene at the end where Thor embarrasses Kinsey.]
